Here the trim is Togo, the pebbled calfskin Hermès introduced in 1997, in Blanc against white canvas.

Canvas is honest about its age in a way leather is not. It cannot be fed and conditioned back, and on a piece from 2005 the wear is visible. This bag is graded good — visible wear, fully disclosed. That grade is the reason for the price, and the piece is offered on those terms rather than around them. A buyer who wants a Kelly with no history should look at a later bag; a buyer who wants this configuration should know what they are getting and pay accordingly.

What it keeps is the architecture — sangles, touret, clochette, the full Kelly mechanism at 32cm. Palladium hardware, cool silver and tarnish-resistant.
