Italy, 1947 origin italy period 1947 author vittorio buora (udine, 18 october 1910 – turin, 1966) having moved to turin in 1917, he was a self-taught painter as well as a musician and orchestra conductor. He favored landscapes and portraits, distinguishing himself for a marked chromatic sensitivity with an affinity with the teachings of the fauves. He held solo exhibitions in numerous italian cities, including bologna, turin, monza, bergamo, como, milan, alassio, lucca and bari. His works are present in private collections in italy and abroad, including milan, venice, florence, lucca, new york, london and berlin. Among his most representative paintings are caravan of gypsies, portrait of a young man, market in via s. Croce in turin and parco michelotti.
