Elegant pair of round-backed dining chairs upholstered in richly toned burgundy leather with deep button tufting and brass nailhead trim. The frames are constructed of solid walnut with fluted front legs, stretchered bases, and gently curved arms that provide both structure and grace. The supple leather and refined detailing evoke a transitional blend of early 20th-century formality and mid-century craftsmanship.
Produced during a period when American furniture makers favored hand-upholstered seating and premium hardwood construction, these chairs balance durability with understated luxury-well-suited for use around a formal dining table or in a refined study setting.
