1930s–1940s Vintage Chinoiserie Black & Gilt Tray Table
Beautiful vintage Chinoiserie tray table, believed to date to the 1930s–1940s, featuring an elegant dark painted finish with delicate gilt decoration.
The fixed, non-removable tray top features beautiful, finely rendered gilt detailing that gives the table its distinctive Chinoiserie character. The slender frame and graceful proportions create an elegant silhouette, while the aged dark finish gives the piece a wonderfully collected appearance.
A beautiful accent for a traditional, Chinoiserie, Asian-inspired, or eclectic interior. This versatile piece could be used as a side table, occasional table, drinks table, or decorative accent.

Top tray does not remove and is built to be part of the table. The dark painted finish shows scattered scratches, nicks, rubbing, and areas of finish loss. One horizontal support has a small separation at the joint where it meets the outer frame, as shown in the photographs. Again, the table remains very sturdy and stable. The gilt decoration and slightly embossed painted surfaces show age-appropriate wear. Please review all photographs as part of the condition description. less
