A striking vintage sofa with an exceptionally long 105-inch profile and classic 1970s styling. While the designer and manufacturer are unknown, the sofa has a beautifully tailored silhouette with gently curved arms, four loose back cushions, two generous seat cushions, and a full upholstered skirt along the base.
The woven upholstery features a wonderfully dimensional mix of olive and moss green with muted gold yellow and neutral threads throughout. The subtle variation in the weave gives the fabric far more character than a solid green upholstery and feels distinctly of the period.
This sofa is in very clean vintage condition, particularly impressive for an upholstered piece of its age. Please note that any darker areas or variations visible on the fabric in the photographs are reflections and shadows caused by the lighting and are not stains or discoloration. The seat cushions can also clip into the sofa.
At nearly nine feet long, this is a substantial statement sofa with generous seating while maintaining a relatively low, streamlined profile. Its understated shape and earthy upholstery would work beautifully in a collected traditional interior as well as a more eclectic, design-forward space.
