This is an incredibly rare and desirable piece, thanks to its square size, a format not commonly found in vintage Persian tribal weavings. This rug is a masterpiece of tribal artistry, featuring a triple medallion design that captivates with its geometric precision and harmonious colors. The medallions, in striking red and yellow, are set against a brilliant rich red background, creating a dynamic and visually engaging field. Additional accent colors of luminous royal blue, sunny yellow, and deep navy weave throughout the design, adding depth and visual interest. The rug's composition is elegantly framed by a sophisticated dark green primary border, which is adorned with its own geometric medallions in a beautiful contrast of red and ivory. This layered design showcases the incredible skill of the weaver and the cultural motifs of the tribal tradition. Meticulously hand-knotted with a very soft wool pile on a durable cotton foundation, this rug offers both a luxurious feel and a robust construction. The fine knotting and high-quality materials ensure its longevity and make it a tactile pleasure.
