The composition features three dramatic geometric medallions rendered in a distinctive variation of the classic “crab” motif, arranged along a richly abrash navy field that creates depth, movement, and visual sophistication. The design bears a notable resemblance to the celebrated carpets of Lenkoran from the Caucasus region, with strong geometry, confident scale, and saturated color harmonies. Hand-knotted using high-quality wool and traditional vegetable dyes, the runner displays natural tonal variation—known as abrash—which enhances its authenticity and character while providing subtle shifts that interior designers prize for layering and texture. Both decorative and functional, this wide runner is ideal for hallways, galleries, kitchens, or transitional spaces where a statement textile is desired. Its bold presence pairs beautifully with modern, rustic, and eclectic interiors, offering a timeless focal point grounded in cultural heritage.
