Handwoven in a long corridor format, this piece features a richly detailed all-over Herati pattern set against a deep navy blue field. The Herati design is arranged within a distinctive diamond lattice framework, with each motif encircled by stylized leaves, creating a rhythmic and highly structured composition. The intricate pattern is rendered in a sophisticated palette of blue, brown, yellow, red, and terracotta, offering both visual depth and versatility. Framing the field is a striking cream-colored border, adorned with an array of colorful geometric and floral motifs in blue, pink, yellow, green, red, and brown. The contrast between the dark field and the light border enhances the clarity of the design and reflects the artistic character typical of Malayer village rugs.
