The condition is exquisite, the glass is free from cracks and has some light patination or foxing as we would hope, I think its mercury glass as it has that great bluish hue to it, naturally I've had the reflection changed in the pictures but in real life it is a wonderful colour This is an original painted piece not later amended, the carving must have taken weeks if not months to complete, it really is sublime Dimensions Height:- 143cm Width:- 168 cm Depth:- 6cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
