Made from unglazed, raw red clay, the teapot has a warm, matte finish and a solid feel, weighing approximately 340 grams.

Form: The main body of the teapot is shaped like a rounded squash or gourd, featuring gentle vertical ridges that mimic natural rind. The lid is shaped to cap the top, featuring a charming, sculpted stem as a knob.

Sculptural Details: The teapot is richly decorated with applied clay reliefs. The spout and the sturdy overhead curved handle are designed to look like twisted, textured tree vines or branches.
