The bronze sculpture is finished with a distinct green verdigris patina to mimic ancient weathered metal and is mounted sideways or displayed next to a stained, contoured wood display base.
The original ancient masterpiece dates back to the Eastern Han Period (25-220 AD) and was discovered in 1969 in Wuwei County, Gansu Province, China. It is celebrated globally for its incredible, physics-defying 3D balance and expressive motion.
It is a reproduction of the famous 2nd-century Chinese masterpiece from the Eastern Han Dynasty, which was unearthed in 1969 in Gansu Province.
