Striking vintage Korean lacquer folding tea table featuring an elaborate hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl decorative surface in a rich burgundy-red lacquer finish.
The low, round table has a beautifully scalloped silhouette and an intricate concentric design incorporating floral and auspicious decorative motifs, with luminous mother-of-pearl details throughout. The table rests on a folding trestle-style leg structure, allowing it to collapse nearly flat for convenient storage.

The richly decorated lacquered surface retains the majority of its intricate mother-of-pearl inlay, including the central phoenix and floral motifs, butterflies, and decorative border. There are scattered losses, chips, and areas of wear to portions of the mother-of-pearl inlay, along with scratches, scuffs, and finish wear to the lacquer. The scalloped outer edge shows additional areas of lacquer loss and abrasion consistent with age and use. The folding leg structure also exhibits expected surface wear. Despite the cosmetic wear, the elaborate inlaid decoration remains highly detailed and visually striking. The table folds for storage and remains functional.
