Original Murano glass pendant lamp featuring the characteristic “swirl” pattern – hand-twisted spiral bands in shades of white and grey set within clear glass. Its elongated, torpedo-shaped form is highly characteristic of Italian design from the 1970s.
When illuminated, the swirling bands beautifully diffuse the light, creating a warm and decorative glow. A striking piece above a dining table, in a living room or bedroom.
The shade measures 22 cm in diameter and 52 cm in height. Hand-blown glass, with a metal fitting and textile-covered cord.
Condition is honestly reflected in the photos: there is a small internal stress crack (“spiderweb” crack), which cannot be felt from the outside and does not affect the overall appearance. There are also some light traces of rust inside the shade caused by the metal fitting. Please see the photos for details.
As with any vintage lighting, we recommend having the electrical components checked by a qualified electrician before use.
