The design takes inspiration from the traditional oil lamp, reinterpreting its familiar silhouette as an elegant electric table lamp.

This example features a beautiful emerald green glass body, complemented by brass-toned fittings and the original clear glass chimney. The contrast between the rich green glass, transparent chimney and warm metal details gives the lamp a particularly decorative and timeless appearance.

Importantly, the lamp retains both its original Holmegaard glass chimney and glass base, as well as the original manufacturer’s label underneath, confirming its authenticity.

A charming example of Danish decorative lighting from the second half of the 20th century, equally suitable as a functional bedside or atmospheric table lamp and as a collectible piece of Scandinavian glass design.
