The lamp has a strongly sculptural, futuristic silhouette typical of European lighting design of the period. A wide brushed aluminium outer shade surrounds the dark central reflector, while the lower section is finished with a heavy textured glass diffuser.

The glass is particularly decorative: its deeply moulded clear surface creates beautiful optical reflections, while the amber glass border adds warmth and colour. When illuminated, the diffuser softens and distributes the light while the amber section produces an atmospheric golden glow around the lower edge of the lamp.

The combination of cool aluminium, dark metal and warm amber glass gives the piece a distinctive Space Age / 1970s Modernist character. with its substantial 36 cm diameter, it works particularly well above a dining table, in a living room, hallway or as a statement light in a vintage or contemporary interior.
