the piece is a striking, complete decorative ensemble combining the functions of a lamp and a clock. The base is finished in black with decorative gilded elements. A distinctive feature of the lamp are the two glass spheres, between which a metal frame is situated. The whole is topped by a powder-pink fabric lampshade, adorned with decorative trimmings.

the base houses a mechanical french clock marked “ideal france,” featuring a classic dial and a key-wound mechanism. The dial retains the typography of the numbers and decorative frame characteristic of the era.

the design of this piece perfectly fits the aesthetic of french art deco and will be an interesting addition to a collection of clocks, lamps, or vintage-style interior decor.
