2 seater Borkum Sofa by Johan Bertil Häggström for IKEA, 1970s
Recently reupholstered in velvet like plush fabric in sand coulour. Original black fabric on the chromed frame turned to purple during the years of use.
Armrests slightly modified by the upholsterer.
Very comfortable. Iconic, sought after design. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
