An elegant and substantial Italian sideboard produced by Mario Sabot in the 1970s. The design combines a high-gloss black lacquered case with beautifully figured burl walnut veneer doors arranged in a striking geometric pattern. Polished chrome profiles frame the cabinet, while the smoked glass top enhances its refined and luxurious appearance. Behind four doors, the sideboard offers generous storage with adjustable shelves, making it as functional as it is visually impressive. The clean architectural lines and rich material palette are characteristic of high-end Italian furniture from the period. Similar Mario Sabot cabinets are known for their luxurious finishes in black lacquer, chrome, and burl wood. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
