A substantial antique industrial refractory crucible, transformed by decades of foundry use into a sculptural vessel with remarkable texture and naturally developed color. The exceptionally thick walls, irregular eroded rim, mineral deposits, oxidation, and blue-green patina remain authentic to its working life.
Displayed empty, the vessel reads as a striking architectural object; planted with an olive tree, dracaena, agave, or other sculptural greenery, it becomes an expressive indoor planter. Its honest materiality works especially well in Organic Modern, Wabi-Sabi, Belgian, Japandi, Mediterranean, Brutalist, and collected contemporary interiors.
