This is an antique non-dial candlestick telephone, also known as a desk stand or upright telephone. This classic style was popular from the late 1900s through the 1930s.
The telephone features a vertical metal shaft resting on a heavy round base, an upright transmitter with a cup-style mouthpiece at the top, and a separate handheld receiver that hangs from a cradle switch hook on the side.
It comes with a vintage braided, fabric-covered brown cord, typical of early telephone systems that required a separate ringer box connected to the wall.
This telephone does not display a visible brand or manufacturer’s mark. Similar candlestick models were produced by prominent early 20th-century companies such as Western Electric and Kellogg.
A beautiful decorative and collectible piece for antique telephone enthusiasts or vintage décor.
