Add magnificent, historic grandeur to your home with this 19th-century French ormolu and cut crystal epergne centerpiece. Perfect for a mantel or console table where it can be displayed beautifully against a back wall, this statement piece features an intricately cast gilt-bronze pedestal standard adorned with ornate foliate scrolls and a stamped "Déposé N° 2" registered design mark on the base.
The bronze frames a two-tiered crystal structure: a wavy scalloped lower presenting bowl and a tall, fluted trumpet flower vase insert. The clear glass features brilliant diamond-cut geometric facets that catch light beautifully. Please note: One of the cast bronze scroll feet has broken off, causing the base to sit unevenly unless propped or professionally repaired. The crystal elements are in excellent antique condition with no cracks or major chips. Priced significantly under market value due to base damage—an amazing restoration candidate or decorator find.
