a truly stunning and highly collectible danish mid century coffee table, designed by renowned danish furniture designer and sculptor søren georg jensen and produced by kubus in denmark, dating from around the 1960s.

this exceptional model 75 coffee table showcases the sculptural simplicity and superb craftsmanship for which danish mid century design is renowned. The beautifully proportioned circular top features a spectacular sunburst veneer design, creating a striking radiating pattern that draws the eye across the surface and beautifully showcases the rich natural tones and grain of the teak.

the table is supported by an exceptionally elegant sculptural solid teak base, with sweeping curved supports and a beautifully engineered geometric form. The contrast between the rounded top and architectural base gives the piece a wonderful sense of movement and balance, making it as much a piece of functional furniture as it is a work of mid century design.
