A timeless and elegant Satellite pendant, designed by Vilhelm Wohlert for Louis Poulsen, Denmark.
Vilhelm Wohlert designed the model in 1959 on behalf of Louis Poulsen. The goal was to create a versatile pendant for rooms of different sizes, which would also be easy to install, maintain and change the light source.
The mouth-blown opal glass shade spreads a soft, pleasant and even light in the room. The opening in the bottom of the shade also provides direct, downward light. The high quality of the glass means that the shade has a beautiful and uniform glow regardless of the choice of light source. The lamp fits just as well mounted high in the room as low above, for example, a dining table.
