Decorated en grisaille with octagonal neoclassical scenes depicting the fine arts - painting, sculpture, music, and literature - on a bright orange ground enhanced by gilding. Measures 12" x 6 7/8" x 2 1/4". Makes a nice pen tray on the desk. Good condition - light staining; wear to gilding. A rare example. See less
