Great set of four 1980s iron dining chairs, each with a different animal silhouette back including a horse, cow, pig and rooster.
They have a really nice weight to them and are quite difficult to find. Great farmhouse look without being too country, and they also work well in a more eclectic interior.
I do not know the original paint color. They were painted black at some point in their history and have some age and patina to the finish.
The seats are currently covered in a neutral fabric that was quickly added by a New York designer when the chairs were used for staging. They were not professionally upholstered and are really ready to be recovered properly in the fabric of your choice.
Very unusual set and great around a kitchen, breakfast or dining table
