Boris Rakhamimov was born in Baku, Azerbaidzhan in 1950, and graduated from the Art Institute of St. Petersburg in 1974. Six years later, he immigrated to the United States to pursue painting, exhibiting in various well-known galleries in New York City, and building a studio in Peekskill New York.
