Striking vintage Moroccan brass tray table featuring a large hand-worked brass tray top set on an exceptionally sculptural folding spider-leg wood base.
The substantial oval brass tray features intricate etched detailing and a decorative raised, scalloped edge, creating a warm golden focal point with beautiful variation and patina throughout. Beneath it is an architectural wooden spider-leg base with dramatically curved, intersecting legs.
A particularly wonderful feature of the design is the folding, collapsible base. The articulated spider legs can fold inward, allowing the table to be conveniently compacted for storage or transport while maintaining its striking sculptural form when assembled.
At approximately 41 inches long, this is a substantial statement coffee table with an unusually beautiful combination of Moroccan brasswork and Mid-Century sculptural woodworking.
