Pair of Mustard Ceramic Table Lamps with Geometric Shades
Description
A wonderfully bold pair of sculptural ceramic table lamps combining saturated vintage color with a fresh, graphic designer sensibility.
Each lamp features a substantial rounded ceramic body finished in a rich, glossy mustard-yellow glaze, rising into a long, elegantly tapered neck. The dramatic gourd-like silhouette has wonderful Mid-Century and 1970s influence, while simple brushed-metal circular bases give the lamps a clean architectural finish.
Each lamp measures approximately 27” overall in height. The ceramic body measures approximately 10” across at its widest point, with a 6” diameter base.
For this edition, we have paired the lamps with geometric drum shades measuring approximately 15” in diameter × 11” high. The shades are appropriately proportioned to the substantial ceramic bodies and feature a warm ivory ground overlaid with a distinctive greenish-yellow/chartreuse geometric design composed of interlocking curves and angular forms.
The pairing gives the lamps a particularly strong designer identity. Rather than simply matching the mustard ceramic, the greenish-yellow pattern introduces a complementary layer of color, while the ivory ground keeps the overall composition fresh and balanced.
The lamps do not use traditional harps or decorative finials. The shades utilize a spider-style fitting system that rests at the lamp’s socket/collar assembly, maintaining the lamps’ clean, uninterrupted silhouettes.
When illuminated, the geometric shades take on an especially warm character, softly diffusing the light while allowing the graphic pattern to remain visible.
These are substantial statement lamps with enough presence to work beautifully as bedside lighting or as a coordinated pair on a console, credenza or large dresser. Their sculptural form, saturated color and graphic shades create an especially striking effect when the lamps are used symmetrically.
The pair works beautifully with Mid-Century Modern, 1970s Modern, Hollywood Regency, Palm Springs Modern, Eclectic, Transitional and collected contemporary interiors.
Please note that these are vintage lamps with individual character. When placed immediately side by side and examined closely, one ceramic body has a slightly deeper mustard coloration than the other. The difference is subtle and generally not noticeable in normal placement.
Both lamps are fitted with one-way on/off switches. They are not three-way lamps and do not have dimmer switches. Both electrical cords are functioning and remain in very good condition; one lamp has a black cord and the other has a clear cord.

Why We Love It
We love the unapologetic color and sculptural presence of this pair.
The glossy mustard ceramic bodies have a wonderfully clean, elongated silhouette, while the geometric shades give the lamps an entirely different personality. The greenish-yellow pattern plays against the mustard glaze rather than matching it exactly, creating the layered color and visual tension we look for in a designer piece.
They feel unmistakably rooted in the bold interiors of the 1960s and 1970s without looking trapped there.
Most importantly, these lamps can anchor a room. Place them on opposite sides of a bed or large credenza and they immediately create symmetry, height and a strong focal point. They’re colorful, architectural and just a little unexpected — exactly the qualities that make vintage lighting memorable.

Condition Details This pair of mustard ceramic table lamps is in very good overall condition and presents beautifully. Both ceramic bodies retain their rich, glossy mustard finish with attractive depth and sheen. When the lamps are positioned directly beside one another and examined closely, one lamp has a slightly deeper mustard tone than the other. This tonal variation is subtle and is generally not noticeable in normal use or when the lamps are positioned separately on either side of a bed, console, or credenza. Both lamps have been tested and are functioning properly. Each is equipped with a one-way on/off switch; these are not three-way or dimmer lamps. Both electrical cords are functioning and remain in very good condition. Please note that the cords differ between the two lamps: one lamp has a black cord and the other has a clear cord. The geometric shades are in very good overall condition and complement the mustard ceramic bodies beautifully.
