The lamp is constructed … Read more A rare, striking table lamp designed by gaetano sciolari for italian sciolari lighting during the 1970's. The lamp is constructed from alternate, interlocking, identical, white metal squares with brass edges. The vertical and horizontal interlocking squares, reminiscent of a jigsaw puzzle. The horizontal supporting squares hold all the vertical squares in place. An incredibly well made and sturdy lamp in good vintage condition with some tarnishing to the brass edges in places. Dimensions with lamp shade; d 45 cm, height 68 cm. Lampshade is not included. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
