The lamp is made of solid, hand-carved wood. The central body, shaped like a flower, is composed of five petals surrounding a spherical, hand-blown amber glass shade. This body is attached by three metal chains to an intermediate wooden platform, which is suspended by a chain from a carved wooden ceiling rose. The amber glass gives off a very warm and pleasant light.
