An exceptionally elegant antique mahogany sideboard in the Sheraton and Hepplewhite tradition, distinguished by graceful bow-front side cabinets, fine contrasting inlay, delicate tapered legs, and beautifully aged brass hardware.

The cabinet features a long central drawer above a dramatic arched kneehole, flanked by two bowed storage compartments. Each door is framed with contrasting lightwood banding and retains period-style oval brass pulls and keyhole escutcheons. Fine string inlay continues across the top, cabinet fronts, and structural elements, giving the piece a sophisticated architectural quality without overwhelming its restrained Federal-era proportions.

The shaped mahogany top displays particularly attractive grain and a fine perimeter inlay following its subtle curves and stepped corners. The cabinet interiors provide generous storage, with one compartment retaining a green felt-lined base.

The unfinished back reveals traditional board construction and extensive natural oxidation and surface variation accumulated over many years. Throughout, the sideboard retains a warm, mellow patina with age-appropriate wear that adds considerable character.
