The ivory field is richly adorned with an elegant array of floral vases and bouquets, rendered in a masterful palette of Persian blue, soft greens, saffron yellow, pink, and deep red that creates visual depth and harmony across the entire composition. Woven in the village of Lavar near the city of Kerman on the edge of the great desert of Southeast Persia, this carpet reflects the centuries-old tradition of its weavers — who transformed the arid landscape around them into gardens of extraordinary color and beauty through the art of the loom. A striking Persian blue border filled with intricate floral motifs frames the composition and enhances the carpet's stately, room-commanding presence.
