The rich navy blue field — one of the most classic and deeply satisfying field colors in the Kashan tradition — is adorned with intricate floral motifs of great precision and beauty, anchored by a delicate central medallion in warm brick and soft cream tones that floats on the deep ground with graceful authority. A floral border in brick red frames the composition with the classical refinement for which Kashan borders are celebrated — each motif in the border a miniature design in its own right.
