Flower power! Mid 20th century metal candle holder or candelabra decorated with mod Brady Bunch style flowers in a colorful combination of orange, pink, yellow and blue on a dark green leafy background. The base offers two candle holders that accommodate standard tapers. It is decorated with the flowers on one side and consequently is best placed against a wall. No apparent maker's mark.
Good to fair condition. Two flowers have repairs. One flower has been glued together after an apparent break, please see photographs 12 and 13. Another flower must have been damaged beyond repair and was cleverly replaced with a floral brooch. Please see photographs 3 and 13. I did not even notice the replacement at first...it blends right in. The candle holder sat on an entryway credenza for many years and shows some dinginess to the original color.
Measures 27.5" tall x 13" at the widest x 7" deep. The octagon shaped base measures 5.75" x 5.75".
