Striking matched pair of vintage table lamps featuring sculptural woven rattan bodies in an aged ivory finish. The intricate basketry is formed into repeating braided ribs, creating a highly dimensional pattern that gives the lamps exceptional texture and presence.
The rounded woven bodies are set between turned bases and upper collars, with warm brass-tone hardware completing the design. Their substantial scale and expressive basketry work especially well in Organic Modern, Hollywood Regency, Coastal, Palm Beach, and eclectic interiors.
Likely Asian manufacture for the American decorative furnishings market, circa 1970s.
