This vintage 1970s square coffee table features an architectural pencil reed rattan construction with a beautifully detailed geometric top. Slender reeds are arranged diagonally in four opposing sections, creating a striking chevron-like pattern that converges toward the center and gives the surface a strong sense of movement and symmetry.
The substantial square frame, wrapped edges, and straight legs are finished in tightly arranged pencil reed, giving the table a sculptural, handcrafted appearance characteristic of 1970s design.
The pencil reed features a warm honey-golden tone with subtle amber and caramel variations.
