Beautiful stunning style replica antique finely detailed French 19thC Sèvres Marked Porcelain Cabinet Portrait Plate depicting Madame du Barry, mistress of King Louis XV.
Features a beautifully hand-painted central portrait with raised Jeweled enamel, framed by a delicate pastel border and a heavily decorated scalloped rim covered in Interlocking apple-green and gold stenciled ribbons.
Artist signed bottom right of portrait Debrie.
The back of the plate features an impressive array of historical tribute marks:
* Handwritten iron-red script reading "Mme du Barry" and "France".
* A green oval factory stamp marked S.46.
* A blue crowned royal monogram LP 1846 seal.
* A red cogwheel Château de St. Cloud palace destination stamp.
Note for Collectors: The inclusion of the handwritten country designation indicates this high-quality piece was produced during the late 19th to early 20th-century Belle Époque era for the luxury export market using a 1846 Sèvres marked plate.
Excellent used antique condition. No chips, cracks, hairline fractures, repairs, or glaze crazing. The central portrait artwork remains vibrant and sharp, and the heavy gold gilding along the scalloped rim is remarkably intact with virtually no visible rub-wear. Normal wear from age.
