Medium: Wood-fired stoneware clay with long, vibrant crimson fiber hair.
Creation Background: This mask was fired in Midland, Georgia. The distinctive, earthy surface texture and rich variegation on the face are the results of natural ash and flame movement unique to the wood-firing process.Exhibitions: Huff's signature ghost mask series has been featured in regional contemporary exhibitions, such as the "Through the Fire" showcase at LeMoyne Arts Center in Tallahassee, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center & Swan Coach House Gallery in Atlanta, the Folk Pottery Museum of NE Ga in Sautee Nacoochie & The Ology Gallery in Savannah, Ga.
