An exceptional, heirloom-quality 9-piece bedroom suite from the celebrated "Versailles" collection by Oakwood Interiors. Master-crafted in the USA from 100% solid red oak, this grand ensemble represents the pinnacle of late 20th-century American furniture manufacturing.
This set is defined by its immense structural weight, deep relief carvings of leaves and acorns, and integrated wooden handles. Built to last generations, it features robust English dovetail joinery, dual steel ball-bearing drawer glides, and aromatic cedar-lined top drawers.
The suite comprises (with piece #):
1 - California King Sleigh Bed: Deeply curved, stately headboard and footboard. (does NOT include mattress and box spring)
2 - 10-Drawer Wide Dresser: Maximum storage design with premium height.
3 - Beveled Mirror: Heavy oak arched frame with a thick 1" premium bevel.
4 - 7-Drawer Tall Chest: Excellent vertical footprint with deep drawer capacity.
5/6 - Two-Piece Media Armoire: Features 4 deep lower drawers; upper cabinet houses wrap-around pocket doors, built-in electrical outlets, and a dedicated media components drawer.
7/8 - Pair of 3-Drawer Nightstands: Substantial bedside proportions with matching carvings.
9 - End-of-Bed Bench: Solid oak frame updated with clean, premium neutral upholstery to seamlessly blend with modern or traditional decor.
No furnishings or the mattress/box spring are included from the photos. Hardwood furniture only as described and shown.
Condition Report: Excellent vintage condition. Structurally rock-solid. The oak finish retains a beautiful, rich luster. Minor, superficial cosmetic dings present on a top surface from a previous move, consistent with age and careful use. Intact factory serial number plates (see photo for example). Two sets of photos showing it in use, one with all pieces advertised, and another (more current) with partial pieces. The current photos with the blue wall, show the new bench upholstery. The bed was purchased new over 25-years ago, with the remainder of the furniture purchased in 2004. All in excellent shape
Shipping/Pickup Note: Recently located in a clean climate-controlled storage facility in Las Vegas, NV. Lightly wrapped and ready for local pickup or white-glove freight carrier extraction.
