DESCRIPTION
Artful, organic, and exceptionally luxurious, the RH Lakshmi Wool Rug transforms the natural movement of marble into a hand-knotted textile with remarkable depth and dimension.
Masterfully handcrafted in Nepal from premium hand-spun Himalayan wool and jute, Lakshmi features abstract rivulets and pools of color that recall the irregular veining found in natural stone. Against the warm Cream ground, Bronze-toned lines travel organically across the surface, creating an expressive pattern that feels simultaneously contemporary and timeless.
The rug is constructed using 60 Tibetan knots per square inch, allowing the artisans to create the nuanced, irregular movement that defines the design. The yarns are spun by hand to preserve their natural character and softness before being hand knotted and carefully sheared to create a refined ¼-inch textural pile.
The Himalayan wool itself is particularly special. Produced in the cold climate at approximately 14,000 feet of elevation, it is regarded for its exceptional softness and quality. Combined with natural jute, the result is a rug with beautiful tactile variation and an organic, sophisticated appearance.
At 10' × 14', Lakshmi has substantial scale and is ideally suited to anchor a large living room, dining room, bedroom, or sophisticated open-concept space.
Previously utilized for upscale staging, this rug presents in beautiful overall condition and has been professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery prior to listing. It is refreshed, placement ready, and prepared for its next home.
Two rugs are currently available. Because these are individually handcrafted rugs and have had separate staging histories, subtle differences in coloration, shading, dimensions, natural character, and minor signs of prior handling may exist between the two.
With a current RH retail price of $11,410 Member / $16,300 Regular, Lakshmi represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a substantial hand-knotted Himalayan wool rug at significant savings compared to current retail.

The Lakshmi's design takes inspiration from the organic veining and movement of natural marble, translating the irregular beauty of stone into a remarkably soft hand-knotted textile.
Its abstract pattern provides visual interest without feeling overly busy or decorative, allowing the rug to function as both a sophisticated foundation and an artistic element within the room.
Lakshmi pairs beautifully with travertine, marble, limestone, plaster, warm oak, walnut, bronze, aged brass, linen, bouclé, leather, and other layered natural materials.

COLOR OVERVIEW
Cream / Bronze
The Lakshmi combines a warm, softly nuanced Cream ground with organic Bronze-toned veining, creating a sophisticated neutral palette with beautiful depth and movement.
Rather than presenting as a stark white, the Cream coloration has a softer, more natural appearance that complements the warmth of the Himalayan wool and jute.
The Bronze pattern moves irregularly throughout the surface, recalling the natural veining of marble and introducing areas of deeper contrast without overwhelming the overall neutral composition.
Because Lakshmi is hand knotted using hand-spun natural fibers, subtle variations in shading and coloration are inherent to the design. The two available rugs may therefore exhibit slight individual variation.

MATERIALS OVERVIEW
90% Premium Himalayan Wool | 10% Jute Pile
• Masterfully hand knotted in Nepal
• Constructed from hand-spun premium Himalayan wool and natural jute
• Himalayan wool is produced in a cold climate at approximately 14,000 feet of elevation and is prized for its exceptional softness and quality
• 60 Tibetan knots per square inch
• Carefully hand-sheared ¼" pile
• Finished with hand-serged ends and bound edges
• Hand-spun yarns enhance the natural texture and individual character of the fibers
• GoodWeave Certified
The combination of fine Himalayan wool, jute, traditional Tibetan knotting, and hand finishing gives the Lakshmi a distinctly artisanal and luxurious character that is difficult to replicate with machine-produced rugs.
────────────────────────────
ARTISAN CHARACTER
The Lakshmi is an individually handcrafted rug, and subtle variations are an intentional part of its character.
Differences in shading, coloration, yarn texture, pattern placement, and dimensions may naturally occur as a result of the hand-spun fibers and hand-knotted construction.
These variations should not be regarded as manufacturing imperfections. Rather, they reflect the artisan process and ensure that no two Lakshmi rugs are exactly alike.
This is particularly relevant because two rugs are available. While both are the same RH Lakshmi design, size, and Cream/Bronze colorway, subtle individual differences between them should be expected.

CONDITION
Previously utilized for upscale staging, this RH Lakshmi Wool Rug presents in beautiful overall condition.
Prior to listing, the rug was professionally cleaned by K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery, a highly regarded specialty rug gallery, and has been refreshed and prepared for placement in its next home.
Minor signs of previous staging use, placement, or handling may be present upon close inspection, though they are minimal and do not detract from the rug's overall presentation.
As a hand-knotted rug produced from natural, hand-spun Himalayan wool and jute, subtle variation in shading, texture, weave, dimensions, and fiber character is inherent to its artisan construction and should be expected.
Two rugs are available. Each has its own individual artisan character and staging history; therefore, slight differences in shading, natural variation, and minor signs of handling may exist between the two.
Overall, both rugs present beautifully and offer an exceptional opportunity to acquire this extraordinarily luxurious RH design in refreshed, placement-ready condition.
