Striking pair of vintage Frederick Cooper table lamps featuring an unusual nautical lantern-inspired design in aged brass, glass and warm wood.
Each lamp is constructed with a cylindrical brass lantern-form body accented by round glass porthole-style windows and set on a substantial wood base. The combination of warm aged brass and dark wood gives the pair a handsome, collected quality well suited to a library, study, living room, coastal interior or traditional home.
Both retain their original Frederick Cooper Lamps, Chicago labels.
The brass has not been polished and retains its naturally aged vintage patina. The wood has also been left in its existing vintage finish.
The lamps are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina. One small decorative screw cap is missing from the top of one lamp; please see photographs. Lamps are working.
Approximately 24” H to the top of the socket with 7.5” diameter bases. 35" to top of finial on included harps.
The pictured shades are later replacements and are not original to the lamps, but may be included with the pair if desired.

The lamps are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina. One small decorative screw cap is missing from the top of one lamp; please see photographs. Lamps are working. The included shades have good bones, but need to be recovered. They are simply used as replacements. They are 13"x17".
