Though this luxurious desk does show some remaining signs of vintage wear such as scratches and small areas of veneer bubbling (shown in the detail photos and natural light video provided) it still has so much to offer with a lifetime more of use remaining. The desk top has been hand-sanded and refinished but … moreThis iconic "floating" executive desk has recently undergone a partial restoration. The desk top has been hand-sanded and refinished but some signs of wear remain such as a minor bubble approximately 4" in diameter and shown in the detail photos as well as natural light video provided. There are also numerous minor scratches throughout the legs and top (the worst of which are shown in the detail photos provided). With that said, in aggregate the mix of solid and veneered teak is in very good shape with the wear being subtle in comparison to rest of the stunning teak woodgrains and condition. All four drawers open and close with ease. The right drawer is a single, standard size file drawer but appears as three drawers from the exterior. This impressive executive desk is highly functional, structurally solid and ready for a literal lifetime more of use thanks to the craftsmanship of both the original builders and our team of restoration specialists.
