Beautiful, substantial vintage Greek Orthodox Byzantine-style religious icon depicting Saint George slaying the dragon.

This striking wall plaque was handmade by the renowned Theologos Silversmith Workshop in Greece.

Features an incredibly detailed repoussé scene overlaid in premium 950 purity fine silver (purer than standard .925 sterling). The silver metal has been treated to preserve its color.

;Explicitly hallmarked with the tiny "950" stamp right under the Greek lettering on the front upper corner.

The metal plate is beautifully paired with a wide, deeply textured, hand-carved dark wooden frame.

The reverse side retains its original paper Certificate of Authenticity featuring official workshop stamps and a genuine red wax seal. Hand-labeled with production number and year marker (1993), verifying it as part of a highly restricted limited annual run of only 200 copies.

Excellent vintage condition. The 950 silver design is clean with exquisite high-relief detailing and natural light age patina. The carved wooden frame is solid with beautifully preserved rustic textures and very minimal edge wear. Backing certificate and wax seal remain completely intact. Normal wear from age.
