Large vintage hand-painted architectural cabinet modeled as a French château, with a mansard roof, detailed façade, cabriole-leg stand and lower storage drawer. The front opens to reveal three spacious shelves, making it functional as a bar cabinet, linen or towel cabinet, display cabinet or collector’s dollhouse.
The architectural form and hand-painted detailing are reminiscent of Eric Lansdown’s château-form dollhouses and cabinets; this example is unsigned and is not attributed to Lansdown.
Vintage condition with age-related wear and patina. One small façade door is missing. The cabinet opens and closes but can stick and requires some finessing. Please see photos for condition.
