I just came across a beautiful period mid century maple shadow box with a wonderful blue velvet liner. I inserted a Japanese handmade silk handkerchief to show how great the box is. You can also use this for other wonderful textile weavings. The cost of the box and the handkerchief are one price. There is no discount if you just want the box.

This is a Choju Giga (Scrolls of Frolicking Animals) themed handkerchief, likely produced by Yamamoto Nin Shoten in Kyoto.
The design features traditional Japanese black-and-white ink drawings of anthropomorphic rabbits and frogs on a yellow and green background.
