This is a beautiful, like-new, custom-made filing cabinet. It has 4 legal-size drawers to hold hanging folders for 8.5 x 14 inch paper. Drawers are deep to hold many files, have pretty, ornate brass handles, and a brass label holder. The bottom cabinet locks with a key.
The file cabinet is 51½ inches tall, 19 1/8 inches wide and 24½ inches in depth. Add another 2¼ inches to the depth measurement to account for the decorative, curved cherry wood at the top.
This cabinet was custom built by a finished carpenter in downstate Illinois with beautiful cherry wood. The cabinet sits firmly on the floor. Opening and closing the drawers is very smooth. There are no issues with its appearance or its function.
