First I purchased this beautiful Vintage Black Marble with interesting veins and perfect condition. Couple of months later I came upon this folded Burmese Red lacquer base. I paired these together as the marble base adds both a level of sophistication and a more durable surface for entertaining. It moved from several different locations over the years. I enjoyed the base as it can be shaped a number of different ways and the marble adds weight to the light wooden base. Octagonal top on eight part collapsible base. Decorated with florals and fanciful creatures. MEASUREMENTS: 12-1/2" diameter x 12-1/2" high. Mable is a 1.25" solid piece with a diameter of 12".
Please note that there is no furniture maker on the piece. Marble is from the 1950's while the Asian table base is from the 1970's. The marble top gives the table more stability.
