First issued in 1970 and retired from production in 1985, this collectible mid-century piece portrays a seated young scholar wearing a kippah, deeply engrossed in sacred study with an open book resting in his hands and study volumes stacked beside him.

Rendered in Lladró’s signature muted matte/gresco palette of subtle soft grays and warm whites, the piece features elegant elongated lines characteristic of Huerta’s iconic sculptural style. Fully hallmarked with the official Lladró maker’s backstamp and impressed production marks on the underside.
