The table has a thick, softly rounded top supported by three broad slab-like legs, giving the piece a substantial architectural presence without making the form feel overly complicated. The pale cast surface has the natural variation and texture associated with Seandel’s work, while the bronze inclusion along the edge introduces a richer, more irregular material contrast. That bronze detail is an important part of the Terra series. Rather than reading as decoration applied after the fact, it feels integral to the cast itself, giving the table the almost geological quality that makes these pieces so recognizable. The contrast between the rougher concrete surface and the darker bronze gives the otherwise minimal form much of its character. A strong example of Seandel’s material-driven approach, where concrete and bronze are treated as part of the same sculptural composition.
