Narrow and very elongated (H. 215 cm × W. 70 cm — 50 kg), well-suited to pier windows and spaces between windows. The frame is made of stuccoed and gilded wood over a red gesso, visible in areas of wear. The wide uprights are decorated with an incised lozenge pattern; an inner border of gilt beads frames the glass at the rounded upper corners. The high-quality carved pediment features a large central shell in relief surrounded by scrolls, acanthus leaves, and buds, in a late Rococo style. The back is made of poplar planks joined with transverse reinforcing slats, confirming the age of the structure. Natural wear consistent with age: gilding is partially missing, stucco chips are localized on the uprights, and there are slight pits in the glass. See less
